Swathi Gokulan is a graduate student at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, where her research focuses on forced migration and minority rights. She serves as senior editor of The Fletcher Forum of World Affairs. She has worked as journalist in India for Reuters and Scroll.in, where she covered international politics, urban development and culture. She holds a BA in Journalism from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai and a diploma in human rights law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
