Polina Popova is a Russian-British freelance writer and aspiring journalist. She received a Bachelor's degree in Law and Politics from the University of Manchester. After a short stint at General Electrics (GE) working as a paralegal, she continued her education at Sorbonne University where she obtained a Master's degree in International Relations. Popova's main areas of focus include eastern European politics and society, while she is currently conducting research for her book on Vladimir Putin and post-Soviet Russia.
