Nafees Ahmad is an associate professor at the Faculty of Legal Studies, South Asian University, New Delhi, where he teaches comparative constitutional law. He holds a doctorate in international refugee law and human rights. His research focuses on refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, stateless persons, global forced displacement and climate refugees. His publications include papers in the Asia-Pacific Journal of Human Rights and Law (Brill), Kings’ Student Law Review (King’s College London) and Groningen Journal of International Law (University of Groningen-The Netherlands), Harvard International Law Journal, among others. Ahmad also co-authored a book, Climate Refugees in South Asia, published by Springer in 2019.
