Maziyar Ghiabi is a DPhil student in Politics at the University of Oxford and a Wellcome Trust Scholar in Society and Ethics. He holds an MPhil (Distinction) from St Antony’s College, and an MA and BA from the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari. He has worked with the United Nations Office of Drugs and Drugs in Tehran where he conducted research on the issue of drugs and drug policy in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
