Chandan Jha is an associate professor of finance at the Madden School of Business, Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. He is a development economist interested in exploring the role of culture and institutions in economic growth and development. His articles on various topics such as corruption, gender norms, finance and development, and international trade have appeared in many scholarly journals including Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Population Economics, The International Review of Economics and Finance, Economic Inquiry, and World Development. He is a co-editor of the forthcoming book, The Political Economy of Corruption by Routledge.
